Our day started early at 6:30AM for a Holiday Inn Express breakfast but a surprise visit made the food secondary.
It wasn't nearly as pretty a drive as yesterday but then we turned a 35 kilometre trip into 350 as we ventured up to North Cape. Lighthouses were the name of the game today at both West Point (no, not that West Point) and North Cape. PEI is an amazing province. Go visit if you have not been there. You will not regret it.
The airbnb we are staying at is in Clinton. We're here for two nights to finish things off. What a place. An Inn of sorts, there are 11 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms with a veranda that surrounds the place looking out to fields reminiscent of a high class golf course. It was quite a treat for us watching bald eagles soar overhead as we ate dinner.
The internet here is basically inoperable - slow does not do it justice. It took 6 hours to upload the photo above. I'll catch you up on Wednesday when we move to a place with HOPEFULLY better wifi.
